Zones & areas

Modern Zone - Come and enjoy the latest games on the modern-era consoles. There will be casual setups for Brawl, Mario Kart, Street Fighter 4, Gears of War 3, Halo, Modern Warfare and many other games.
Retro Zone - A wide variety of consoles from the 8-bit/16-bit era right through to the original Playstation and N64. Come enjoy your favourite classics.
Music/Dance Zone - Where the karaoke, rock band, guitar hero and DDR setups shall be.
Music Stage - Downstairs in the bar will be a variety of music, performances and parties to chill-out to and enjoy. See the timetable for more information.
Tournaments Zone - Where most of the 30+ planned Tournaments will take place.
LAN Zone - The LAN Zone will be bring your own pc. Come along, set up and compete. Tournaments will include Minecraft, TF2 and Counter Strike Source.
TCG - There will be an area to participate in Trading Card Gaming, with YGO and Vanguard tournaments planned as well as casual play.

Exhibitors - There will be a wide range of gaming merchandise, games (both modern and retro) and so forth available to buy!
Publishers - There will be gaming publishers in attendance (big announcements coming soon) with exclusive games to check out and play.
Events Stage - Talks, panels and the big non-musical events will take place upstairs. Full timetable to come!

Gaming Tournaments

Throughout both days there will be over thirty tournaments with prizes up for grabs. A full timetable of what shall be running what day and when will be released in early March. We will have tournaments in every genre of gaming! We will also be running a number of smaller unofficial tournaments for other games as well. If you'd like to see a game be officially run as an official tournament, then please put your request in THIS TOPIC HERE.

MORE TOURNAMENTS TO BE CONFIRMED! TOPICS WITH RULES ON EACH GAME WILL BE PUT UP NEXT MONTH!

- All signups occur on the day in the tournaments zone unless stated otherwise.
- Most tournaments are free to enter unless otherwise stated.
- Most tournaments are groups then single-elimination
- All tournaments allow you the option to bring your own controller if you wish.
- All signups open at 11am for every tournament at the start of each day.
- Tournaments usually last for 2 hours.
- Prizes are guaranteed at least £10, though some may have higher cash prizes and/or merchandise from companies that are sponsoring.

Stage Events

- Cosplay Masquerade - Would you like to show off your cosplay to masses? Perhaps perform a comedy sketch of some gaming-based humor. Strut your stuff and have a great time at one of the greatest traditions. Want to enter? Go signup at registrations/ops! There will be a £30 cash prize for the best entry as determined by our panel of judges, and a pick from the goodie-box for the best two runners-up.
- Gamer Models - Set after the Cosplay Masquerade, we will have models dressed up as classic gaming characters. Not to be missed!
- VG Hell - Think you're an amazing gamer? Well, step up on stage for the ultimate challenge as we give you hacked and modded games to play which are ridiculously hard! Prepare for.. VG Hell!
- Minecraft Live-Build Challenge - Join a team on stage for the minecraft live-build challenge!
- Battle of the Bands - Form your band and take to the stage! However, unlike typical Rockband, we have "awesome points", which our judges award for acts of awesomeness!
- Let's Play Guest Showdown - Our guests take to the stage to compete in a series of live let's plays!
- Slenderman on Stage - Gather round the downstairs stage as we put slenderman on and you take it in turns to complete the game. A prize for the person who can get the furthest.. but be warned.. slenderman might get you!
- Ragequit Gameshow - Playing a game blind-folded? Human tetris? A gameshow in typical wacky Japanese style but video gaming themed. This will be guaranteed to make you ragequit!
- Cosplay Auction - Come enter yourself in to the cosplay auction and help raise money for the convention's charity!
- Gamers Heaven - Our guests take to the stage and give their top five games, as well as their favourite lesser known independent games!
- A Final Fantasy Evening - An enchanting evening of Final Fantasy songs sung live by our singers and performers!
- Game Design, Development & Industry Talks - Find out about how games are designed and about the VG industry. Speakers to be confirmed.
- Pub Quiz - Grab a drink, join a team and answer four rounds of questions over gaming, the internet, general real life and a mystery round!
- Guest Q&As - Expect many Q&A and signing sessions with our wonderful guests including Mike Pollock and Brentalfloss
- Singers, Bands & Performers - The likes of OCRemix, Brentalfloss, KimonoTime, KerriVeck, With Ether and many more shall be giving live music performances throughout the event!
- Internet Show Screenings - Including the Abridged series, Red v Blue, Screwattack, Machima and many other popular shows online!

Sunday Theme Day: Super-Sonic-Sunday

Zooming in on the Sunday of London Gaming Con shall be our special Sonic-themed day - Super-Sonic-Sunday! The UK Sonic community will be coming together at London Gaming Con to put on a series of events and parties for new and old Sonic-fans alike to enjoy!

Highlights will include -

There will be bands, parties (till 1am in the morning from some of the top gaming DJs in addition to too many cash-winning gaming tournaments to list!
Late Night Karaoke Bar (Both Evenings) - Let loose and go wild by singing till your heart's content at our Late-Night Karaoke Bar! Do you think you're the next big-singer in town? Come along and give it a try!
